🥇 ▷ ANANAS HALWA »Simple and Healthy Recipe! ✅

Halwa is the very popular Indian breakfast of Old Delhi, a type of dessert made from various fruits, vegetables, grains, nuts and lentils. Halwa ingredients are usually simmered with clarified butter or ghee until light brown in color. Halwas have the consistency of a very thick pudding, to make it thick after adding sugar, milk and nuts. Easy to prepare and so delicious, Halwa grits are a family favorite. Here I created this PINEAPPLE HALWA recipe with little changes to make it more flavorful. This delicious dish can be served as a snack or after a meal. – Ritu

ingredients
  • 1 cup grits 1

  • 1 tablespoon of gram flour

  • 1 tablespoon almond powder

  • 1 cup of ghee or clarified butter

  • 1 cup of sugar

  • 5 pieces of canned pineapple (2 to decorate)

  • 12 pieces Raisins

  • 12 pieces of almonds, sliced

  • 12 pieces of pistachios, sliced

  • 3 cups of water

  • 1 cup pineapple syrup

  • 1 teaspoon cardamom powder

  • 1 pinch of saffron

Indications
  1. 1- Heat the clarified butter or clarified butter in a pan, add the semolina and cook, stirring constantly. Add the chickpea flour and almond powder and mix until golden brown.

  2. 2- Boil the water, the sugar, the raisins in a separate pot. Add pineapple syrup, saffron and cardamom powder and bring to a boil. Stand aside.

  3. 3. Add the walnuts to the roasted grits and mix. Add the pineapple and cook further for two to three minutes.

  4. 4. Add the boiled water and mix, cover and cook over medium heat for three minutes.

  5. 5. Continue stirring until all moisture evaporates and grits are fully cooked. Garnish with the almonds and serve hot over the pineapple wedge.
