A CLASSIC DESSERT MADE IN THE AIR FRYER

If you’ve never tried bread pudding, you’re definitely missing out! I love a good bread pudding. What I really love is this Air Fryer Bread Pudding! The air fryer has quickly become one of my favorite kitchen appliances and you can make literally anything with it, even candy! You can have these single serving desserts in just 25 minutes! If you’re a fan of bread pudding like I am or just want a fun new way to make it, then you need to try this air fryer bread pudding recipe.

What is the best bread for bread pudding?

If you can, you’ll want a harder bread, let’s use Texas Toast in this recipe. Other great options are brioche, challah, or French bread.

Can I add other things to this recipe?

Absolutely! We decided to add chocolate chips and nuts to this version, but some other options you can use include peanut butter or candy chips, raisins, dried cranberries, and dried or fresh fruit. You really can do it however you want.

Can I use regular milk?

We used vanilla almond milk for sweetness, but yes, you can use regular milk, you’ll just want to add an extra ¼ cup of brown sugar.

What chocolate chips are best for this?

For this recipe we use milk chocolate chips but you can use semi-sweet or dark. Whatever your preference, it will work perfectly.

Should I use dark brown sugar?

No. You can also substitute light brown sugar or white granulated sugar or another type of sweetener.

How do I store leftovers?

These can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator where they will keep for up to 3-4 days. This can also be frozen, wrap each plate with plastic wrap then aluminum foil and it will keep frozen for up to 3-4 months. To thaw, remove from refrigerator overnight and reheat in microwave or air fryer.

  • dark brown sugar
  • salted butter
  • egg
  • texan toast
  • walnuts
  • milk chocolate chips

HOW TO MAKE BREAD PUDDING WITH THE AIR FRYER:

Whisk together the vanilla almond milk, brown sugar, melted butter, and egg in a large bowl.

Add the bread cubes, chopped pecans, and milk chocolate chips to the bowl.

Pour your liquid mixture over the bread and mix, let stand for about 5 minutes.

Prepare fryer by preheating to 330 degrees Fahrenheit and spray 4 (4-ounce) pans with cooking spray. Pour the bread mixture into the molds.

Cook in air fryer for 12-14 minutes or until top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Serve hot.
