How to make banana donut cake

  1. Prepare the pan. Spray the pan with nonstick baking spray and preheat the oven.
  2. Make the cake batter. In a bowl, add the cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, milk, oil, and mashed bananas. Beat on low speed for one minute, then increase to medium speed for two minutes. Gently mix in the candy pieces.

for the cake

  • 1 box yellow cake mix

  • 1 3.4 oz instant banana pudding

  • 4 large eggs

  • 1 ¼ cups of milk

  • ¼ cup canola oil

  • 1 cup mashed ripe banana (2-3)

  • 1 cup chopped Butterfinger pieces

for the icing

  • 1 8-ounce package cream cheese, softened

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened

  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

  • ½ teaspoon of salt

  • 4 cups of powdered sugar

  • 2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream

  • ½ cup chopped Butterfinger pieces

  • 12 Butterfinger Chocolate Bars

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 12-cup pan with nonstick baking spray.
  2. Beat cake mix, pudding, eggs, milk, oil and bananas 1 minute on low speed. Then beat 2 minutes at medium speed.
  3. Gently mix 1 cup Butterfinger pieces into cake batter.
  4. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few crumbs on top.
  5. Let cool in a pan for 15 minutes, then turn out onto a plate to cool completely.
  6. Beat cream cheese, butter, vanilla and salt until creamy. Add the icing sugar a little at a time until completely mixed.
  7. Add the whipped cream and beat for 1-2 minutes or until the mixture is light and fluffy. Reserve ½ cup for the top.
  8. Spread frosting all over cooled cake. Roll reserved icing on top using a piping bag and not. twenty-one
