Bicol Express Chicken Gizzards

Chicken gizzards and wings cooked in coconut milk

  • 1 pound chicken gizzard
  • 40g Knorr Ginataang Gulay Mix
  • 3 cups winged sigarilya bean, sliced
  • 3 Thai chilies, chopped
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon bagoong alamang shrimp paste
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 cups of water
  • 3 tablespoons cooking oil
  • Boil chicken gizzard until tender. Set aside.

  • Heat the oil in the pan. Sauté the garlic until it begins to brown. Add the onion. Cook until softened.

  • Put the boiled gizzards in a pan and sauté them for 2 minutes.

  • Add shrimp paste and chili. Shake off.

  • Pour the water into the pan. Boil.

  • Add Knorr Ginataang Gulay Mix. Stir until well mixed. Cover the skillet and reduce the heat to low. Cook for 8-10 minutes.

  • Add the winged beans. Stir and cook for 5 minutes.

  • Season with ground black pepper.
