HOW TO MAKE PIZZA ALLA BURRATA RECIPE
Start with an overnight pizza dough recipe. Prepare it the day before you enjoy your pizza or pull a crust from the freezer to thaw ahead of time. When you’re ready to make the pizza, preheat the oven to full power before you start shaping the dough.
Mix the three ingredients for your bechamel in a small bowl. Spread the pizza dough with the bechamel sauce, then sprinkle with the basil pesto. Add a splash of harissa and olive oil. Add the grated mozzarella to cover the top. Cook the pizza until the crust is crispy and the mozzarella is golden brown. This should take about 10 minutes.
Take the pizza out of the oven and add a bunch of arugula on top. Top it off with a drizzle of burrata, more harissa, more pesto, pomegranates, a drizzle of balsamic glaze, and a final drizzle of olive oil. Serve hot.

Frequently asked questions
Can burrata be used instead of mozzarella on pizza?
Yes. If your recipe calls for fresh mozzarella, you can substitute fresh burrata. They are very similar, but burrata is a softer cheese.
When should I add burrata to pizza?
This cheese must be added after the pizza has come out of the oven, so that it does not spread and lose its flavor in the oven.
