When you have a craving for burrata, but want to experience it in a different way, you should definitely choose to make this delicious burrata pizza.


This is a fresh cheese produced in Italy. Burrata is made from cow’s milk and cream and has a smooth, creamy texture that oozes from a slightly firmer exterior. Burrata pizza is a pizza made with this delicious cheese.


The gooey, oozing cheese pairs perfectly with spicy harissa, olive oil and herbs contrasted with creamy white sauce and basil pesto for a burst of flavor in every bite.   • Harisa Mine. Moroccan chili hot sauce.
  • Olive oil mine. This particular brand is of excellent single source quality from a family farm in Morocco.
  • Burrata. Make your own or purchase this cheese at a specialty cheese store or from a large cheese box at your local market.
  • Mozzarella cheese. Chopped up. To give the top a complete coverage of the cheese.

  • Arugula Salad. This spicy and tangy green leaf contrasts nicely with the rich burrata.
  • Pomegranates. For a sweet and fruity finish.
  • Overnight pizza dough recipe.
  • White sauce. You will need 1/3 cup 1/3 cup of cream cheese, a bit of salt, and 2-3 tablespoons of cream for this sauce.
  • Balsamic glaze. A sweet and sour touch for each recipe.
  • Salt and pepper. Taste.


Start with an overnight pizza dough recipe. Prepare it the day before you enjoy your pizza or pull a crust from the freezer to thaw ahead of time. When you’re ready to make the pizza, preheat the oven to full power before you start shaping the dough.

Mix the three ingredients for your bechamel in a small bowl. Spread the pizza dough with the bechamel sauce, then sprinkle with the basil pesto. Add a splash of harissa and olive oil. Add the grated mozzarella to cover the top. Cook the pizza until the crust is crispy and the mozzarella is golden brown. This should take about 10 minutes.

Take the pizza out of the oven and add a bunch of arugula on top. Top it off with a drizzle of burrata, more harissa, more pesto, pomegranates, a drizzle of balsamic glaze, and a final drizzle of olive oil. Serve hot.

Can burrata be used instead of mozzarella on pizza?

Yes. If your recipe calls for fresh mozzarella, you can substitute fresh burrata. They are very similar, but burrata is a softer cheese.

When should I add burrata to pizza?

This cheese must be added after the pizza has come out of the oven, so that it does not spread and lose its flavor in the oven.

  • 1-3 tablespoons of Mina Harissa

  • 2-3 tablespoons of Mina olive oil

  • 2-3 tablespoons basil pesto

  • 2 cups of burrata

  • 2 cups of mozzarella

  • 1 cup of herbs

  • 2-3 tips on white sauce

  • 1 overnight pizza crust tart

  • Salt and pepper to taste.

Ingredients for the white sauce

  1. Make your pizza dough the day before using our overnight pizza dough recipe.

  2. When it’s time to make pizza, preheat the oven to the highest possible power.

  3. Divide the dough in half and spread it by hand into two separate crusts. Avoid applying pressure as much as possible.

  4. Mix the bechamel in a bowl and then spread the mixture with the sauce.

  5. Add tablespoons of harissa.

  6. Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic glaze.

  7. Cover the pizza with the mozzarella

  8. Bake for 8-10 minutes until the crust is crisp and the cheese is lightly browned.

  9. Remove from oven.

  11. Season with more pesto, harissa, and olive oil.
