A few years ago I made these Blackberry Brie Bites and was immediately fascinated by the combination of fruit and melted cheese. My husband was not so impressed. That’s fine with me because it means more to me to have fun and devour.

I bought another round of Brie for something fun to do over the holidays. No way did I let that kindness stick around as long as last time.

I knew right away that it would pair with some sort of fruit and crescent rolls. I tend to always have a few cans of crescent wraps in our fridge for easy recipes like this BLT Chicken Braid or these Nutella Cheesecake Twists. I am a fan of having ingredients on hand for meals in minutes.

But this time she didn’t want to make the same cups with Brie. She goes into the pockets of the crescent roll.

Cherry filling can be used in a variety of ways, such as in a pie, on toast, or eaten with a spoon. But seriously, pair it with Brie. You can fall in love like me!

How to make Cherry Almond Brie Bites:

  1. Unroll the crescent rolls and stitch the seams together. Cut each rectangle into a square. You will be able to get 8 snacks from each tin of crescent rolls.
  2. Place a slice of Brie cheese and a tablespoon of cherry filling on each square and fold well. Make sure all seams are closed.
