Ingredients in Garlic Parmesan Crackers

BISCUITS – Any type or size of canned cracker will do, we just recommend making sure you use 16 ounces. Make your own cookies with bisquick dough or homemade cookies.

CONDITIONS – The garlic butter gives a great flavor to the cookies. We add the Parmesan for flavor and the mozzarella to help hold everything together. Add any seasoning mixes you like, such as Italian seasoning or garlic butter tacos to amp up the flavor.

ADDITIONAL: Change it up with plugins. Try sausage, bacon, chicken or ham balls and slices of cheddar or Swiss cheese.

How to make cheese crackers

These cookies are a fluffy, crumbly addition to breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

  1. Combine melted butter and garlic powder. Set aside.
  2. Cut each biscuit into small pieces and season with butter, parsley and cheese.
  3. Divide the pieces into muffin tins.
  4. Baking (per recipe below).

How long will they last?

Leftover Garlic Parmesan Crackers will keep for up to 4 days at room temperature in a zip lock bag. Enjoy them at room temperature or heat them in the microwave.

Freeze chilled cookies in ziplock bags for up to 8 weeks. Bring them to room temperature before heating or serving.

Garlic Parmesan Crackers

Garlic Parmesan Crackers are cheesy and bursting with garlic flavor.

Preparation time 10 minutes

Cooking time 11 minutes

Total time 21 minutes

  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Generously grease wells in muffin tin.

  • Combine melted butter and garlic powder.

  • Cut each cookie into 6 pieces and place in a large bowl. Dress with the mixture of garlic butter, parsley, parmesan and mozzarella.

  • Divide cookies among 6 muffin tins and bake for 11-13 minutes or until golden brown.

  • Let cool in the muffin tin for 5 minutes. Run a butter knife along the edges of each well to remove the cookies.

  • Cool in muffin tin to allow cheese to solidify so cookies hold together.
  • Any variety of cookies will work, just make sure you have a total of 16 ounces.
  • If you prefer, this recipe works with homemade cookie dough.
  • This recipe can be doubled to 12 muffins if desired.
