This smoothie is packed with metabolism-boosting ingredients:

Packed with tons of calcium, protein, healthy fats, and gut-healing probiotics, Greek yogurt helps keep digestion active, keeps you feeling full longer, and speeds up weight loss. If you can’t have cow’s milk yogurt, feel free to substitute with goat’s milk kefir or full-fat coconut yogurt. That way, you’ll still get plenty of healthy fats and probiotics without the potential allergens found in cow’s milk.

Berries are rich in fiber and vitamin C, which help reduce blood sugar spikes and limit insulin-induced weight gain. Blueberries and raspberries in particular have been shown to reduce abdominal fat, lower cholesterol and curb appetite. Hemp seeds

  • 3/4 cup cold green tea
  • 1 3/4 cups frozen mixed berries
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon of hemp seeds
  • Optional: banana or raw honey to sweeten
  • Combine all ingredients in the base of a blender and blend until smooth. While I prefer my smoothie bitter (for digestive benefits), if you prefer yours a little sweeter, you can add banana or raw honey to taste.

  • Garnish with hemp seeds and additional berries and serve immediately.

Feel free to scale this recipe up or down to make more or less. Store leftovers in the freezer. Add a little water or nut milk and puree to combine.
