Illegally Good Kefir Asparagus Sauce »Simple and Healthy Recipe! ✅

Buy fresh and beautifully green asparagus, find a jar and fill it with a delicious sauce. Add the freshly baked bread, cheese, strawberries and a bottle of white wine.   1. Clean the asparagus (I use ½ cup of baking soda and ½ cup of white vinegar in 2-3 liters of water).

  2. Bend them slowly, one at a time, until the stem breaks off naturally – keep the top part, that’s the fully edible part!

  3. Arrange them upright, bottom to top, in a steaming basket, sprinkle with a pinch of salt. Put a cup of water and a tablespoon of turmeric in the bottom of a large pot, place the basket on it, cover and cook for about 5 minutes over medium heat. You want them tender but not moist.

  4. Meanwhile, prepare the sauce: mix the kefir, turmeric and all the other ingredients well. Salt to taste. Done! Come on, dip an asparagus in the sauce… delicious, huh?
