This Italian Fried Tortellini Dinner is pasta hot on the stovetop. Fresh Tomatoes, Garlic, Italian Dressings, Pepperoni, and Cheese Tortellini!

A DELICIOUSLY EASY BREAD MEAL

I love the fresh flavor of this recipe. Fresh tomatoes and garlic are one of my favorite flavor combinations. Then when you add the Italian toppings, cheese tortellini, and peppers, it becomes a hearty and satisfying meal! Your home will smell absolutely amazing! It’s also a wonderful meal if you have fresh tomatoes from your garden. It comes together quickly and is a perfect weeknight dinner that everyone will love. Feel free to use fresh basil or oregano if you have it. Bonus: it’s all done in one pan!

WHAT CAN I SERVE WITH THIS PASTA DINNER?

This is truly a meal in one. However, I did serve it with a great Italian Salad and Garlic Bread, Cheesy Garlic Bread or maybe try Homemade Olive Garden Grissini. If you want more vegetables, you can always serve with Italian green beans.

REQUIRED INGREDIENTS: (FULL RECIPE AT THE BOTTOM OF POST)

  • tortellini with cheese
  • olive oil
  • onion
  • garlic cloves
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Peppers
  • dried basil
  • Dried oregano
  • italian seasoning
  • garlic powder
  • salt and pepper
  • Parmesan

HOW TO MAKE TORTELLINI IN A PAN:

First, cook the cheesy tortellini according to package directions. Drain well and let stand. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry the onion until transparent.

Add the cherry tomatoes, mix and cook for a couple of minutes until the tomatoes start to soften. Then add the garlic until fragrant (about 30 seconds).

Add the other ingredients (seasonings, peppers, and cooked cheese tortellini), mix well, and cook for about 5 more minutes (until everything is heated through).

Garnish with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
