Lactose-Free Bittersweet Lemon Berry Acai Smoothie Bowl Simple & Healthy Recipe! ✅

This publication was created in collaboration with SAMBAZON. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I’ve been cooking and eating a lot more at home lately, so it’s safe to say I’m officially on the lookout for new recipes and ingredients to kick my morning breakfast routine up a notch. This New Year is all about trying new smoothie recipes that are better at keeping things interesting.

This dairy-free Açaí Lemon Berry Smoothie Bowl recipe has become a new favorite, so much so that I find myself eating it not only for breakfast, but also makes a great post-workout snack or afternoon treat.

I love that the addition of fresh-squeezed lemon keeps this Açaí bowl from getting too sweet (my smoothie is such a hassle), while the berries and banana add the perfect touch of natural sweetness.

The best part about this recipe is that it comes together so quickly with the addition of these SAMBAZON Açaí Superfruit Packets, making it easy to create delicious Açaí bowls and smoothies that can be customized to your taste preferences and dietary needs. In addition, these packs allow you to enjoy a bowl of Açaí comfortably and safely from home, without having to go to the neighborhood blender.

The flavor of the Açaí in this bowl is the perfect complement to the tartness of the lemon and the sweetness of the blended berries and banana. The texture of this bowl is thick and creamy, and if you add kale or spinach to this flavor mix, you won’t even know it’s there (I promise).

What I love most about incorporating these SAMBAZON Açaí superfruit packets into recipes, aside from the fact that they are dairy-free, vegan, non-GMO, organic, and made with fair trade Açaí, is that they are ready and waiting for me. freezer all the time. I want to experiment with new smoothie bowl ideas. They are a great addition to smoothies or bowls because they not only make the preparation process easier, but also add antioxidants and omegas* to the mix.

Also, açaí, also known as the superfood of all superfoods, is naturally low in sugar and high in fiber, iron, calcium, and vitamin C, making it an ideal ingredient for smoothies, especially during this time of year. year. .

For this recipe, I chose to use SAMBAZON Açaí Unsweetened Pure Superfruit Packets, which contain pure organic Fair Trade açaí puree with zero grams of sugar and 70 calories per serving. I appreciate that these candies have no added sugar because the fruit in this recipe really provides all the sweetness you need.

Since ingredients are always a key part of making the perfect smoothie bowl, I’ve topped this bowl with coconut flakes, nuts, and seeds for texture and a bit of crunch. I also like to add a couple of slices of fresh lemon as a garnish – that extra touch amps up the tart-sweet quality that makes me crave this recipe. You can also add some frozen berries if you like.

One thing to keep in mind when mixing the ingredients: you are looking for a smooth but scoopable texture. We recommend that you blend it until completely smooth, adding more lactose-free milk as needed.

While I’m blending, I always like to regularly scrape down the side of the blender to keep the mixture moving. And remember, the longer you stir, the thinner the smoothie will get, so use a little nut milk to get that thick smoothie bowl consistency.

How would you fit these Açaí packets into your daily smoothie routine? I’m always looking for new ideas for flavor combinations!
