Marinade for Feta

How to marinate feta cheese (full recipe and video)

  • In a small bowl, whisk together the extra virgin olive oil, red wine vinegar, honey, parsley, shallot, oregano, and chili flakes.

  • Pat the feta cheese dry, then cut it into small cubes.

  • Spread a couple of tablespoons of marinade in a large bowl. Add the feta cubes on top, then pour over the remaining marinade. Pour and evenly coat all cubes.

  • Marinate in the refrigerator for as long as necessary (minimum 2 hours, maximum 4 hours). Gently sprinkle/stir the feta from time to time if possible. Bring to room temperature to serve, just to loosen the marinade.
