What ingredient do you need to add a luxurious touch to your amazing summer dip? Bubbles!
Millionaire Sparkling Cheese Sauce combines delicious cream cheese with the mineral touch of sparkling wine and the heat of cheddar cheese. If you are looking for a refreshing homemade sauce to have your tongue ripped apart, this is the recipe for you!
The brut sparkling wine is the key element in the millionaire sizzling cheese sauce as it creates a stony minerality that helps balance the richness of the cream cheese and the grittier, jagged cheddar. When combined with nutmeg, ground chili, and fresh parsley (earthy yet cheerful and friendly flavors), the sauce becomes a deliciously smooth yet simple dipping sauce that works with a variety of vegetables, crusty bread, or snack crackers. The other bonus? You only need one bubble cup to use in the recipe, which means you can use the bubbles for more traditional fun.
Now, I could keep this heavy cream with cheddar cheese (and add another mineral element like chopped spinach or arugula), but for my millionaire sauce it means smooth flavor and creamy cohesiveness. I love the way the ingredients start out with a luxurious smoothness that transforms into more earthy tones when all the elements meet on the tongue and palate.
The Millionaire Sparkling Cheese Sauce is the perfect summer accompaniment for appetizers or dishes of the moment. There is no cooking, just a short time in the food processor and the output is high enough that you can use it for days if stored in the fridge and as long as it doesn’t quickly de-bone. Surely if you make this dip for a party or to be together more relaxed, more than one guest will ask you for the recipe!
