Pea Salad With Dill » Simple and Healthy Recipe! ✅

The peas are just beginning to arrive in our garden. They’re wonderful eaten out of the way, but also wonderful in this salad. It’s great in the hot season we’re having right now, a cool, fresh-tasting side dish, although I’ve been known to make a meal out of it. It’s also great in hot weather to have a no-cook dish, and is a favorite for and during dinner parties, picnics, and barbecues. – Luisez

  • about 4 cups of fresh peas

  • 1/4 cup sour cream

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise

  • about 2 tablespoons freshly cut or chopped dill weed

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese (optional)

  1. Combine mayonnaise, sour cream, dill. Stir to mix well.

  2. Combine the peas gently. Add cheese, if using. Add salt and pepper to taste.

  3. Cover and chill for at least two hours for flavors to meld.
