FREQUENT QUESTIONS:

Can I make this flavor less fruity?

If you are not very good with the strong fruit flavor, you can increase the coconut milk and decrease the pineapple juice.

Can I Substitute Greek Yogurt in Pineapple Smoothies?

You can, you can use plain yogurt, vanilla yogurt, or even cottage cheese for a little extra protein in the drink.

Should I use coconut milk?

While coconut milk gives it a more tropical flavor, you can use regular cow’s milk if you prefer.

Can I use fresh pineapple?

You can, but I like to freeze the pineapple before I make this smoothie. Frozen fruit is key to getting the texture we want with this drink.

I’m not a fan of agave, what can I use instead?

If you don’t want to use agave, you can replace it with honey or even maple syrup or skip it altogether.

Should I use collagen or protein powder?

Absolutely not. I like to add a little extra protein and make it a little healthier and more filling, but leaving it out won’t change the flavor of the recipe at all.
