This Crockpot Spinach Artichoke Dip is the dip everyone is raving about at parties! Spinach and artichokes combined with cream cheese and shredded cheese, then simmered until gooey and cheesy, so good!

This mud sauce is so easy to make! Put all the ingredients in the slow cooker and let it do all the work, you just have to prepare the sides to enjoy the sauce.

Once cooked, each bite is loaded with the base of cream cheese, melted cheese, fresh spinach and artichokes, amazing flavor.


With just a few ingredients you can have this sauce ready in no time. Here are the ingredients for the Slow Cooker Spinach Artichoke Dip:

  • Cream cheese– You want to use a good quality cream cheese for this recipe. You can use regular or low-fat cream cheese.
  • Sour cream– Sour cream adds creaminess.
  • Spinach– For this recipe we use fresh baby spinach.
  • Artichoke– Canned artichoke hearts work best in this recipe.
  • Mozzarella cheese– Freshly grated cheese or grated cheese will be fine.
  • Parmesan– You can use grated Parmesan cheese or grated fresh cheese using a micro-flat grater.
  • Garlic– Freshly minced garlic adds so much flavor to this dish! You can easily substitute garlic powder.
  • Seasoning– Salt and pepper to taste.


  • Finely chop the spinach and artichoke hearts.
  • Add the ingredients to the crock pot, you don’t need to mix them.
  • Cook on high heat for 1 hour or on low heat for 2-3 hours.

Oven method-

If you don’t have a slow cooker but still want to try this sauce, try our baked method!

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. In a bowl, beat the cream cheese with the sour cream until creamy. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix until you get a homogeneous mixture.
  3. Transfer to a 9″x9″ pan and decorate with grated cheese.
  4. Cook for 28-30 minutes, or until bubbles and cheese have melted.
  5. Serve and enjoy your food!
