Spinach Sauce » Simple and Healthy Recipe! ✅

Growing up, my mom would make it for lunch with mashed potatoes and a fried egg. This was one of my favorite meals. —Anka

  • 1 pound frozen chopped spinach

  • 2 butter spoons

  • 2 tablespoons of flour

  • 1 clove garlic, grated or minced

  • 1 1/3 cups of milk

  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt

  1. Thaw spinach and drain well, (after draining I have 6 oz of spinach left)

  2. Melt the butter in a pan, add the flour and garlic, cook, stirring for a few minutes.

  3. Add spinach and milk, season with salt and simmer for about 8-10 minutes.

  4. Serve with fish, chicken, pasta, roast or mashed potatoes.
