Summer Sorbet Recipe – Melon and Rose Water » Simple and Healthy Recipe! ✅

Sherbet is a delicious light alternative to ice cream and cake! And especially at this time of year you can enjoy a summer sorbet even more. However, this “healthy alternative” to dessert feels like the healthy option, but with all the extra sugar, syrups, and chemicals used in store-bought versions, it may not be as friendly as you might think. .

So we suggest you create your own! This summer sherbet recipe takes some time… a little effort… but trust me, it’s really worth it! The fragrance of rose water combined with the sweetness of melon creates a fantastic and healthy summer sorbet that all your friends and family will love.

ingredients

800 g cantaloupe melon, seeded and pulp coarsely chopped

2 tablespoons of sweetener

1 tablespoon lemon juice

2 tablespoons of rose water

Indications

Put all ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth.

Transfer mixture to a large freezer-safe container, then cover and freeze until crystals form around the edges (about 1 1/2 hours).

Beat with a fork to break up the ice crystals, then cover and return to the freezer.

Repeat every 1-2 hours until you have a nearly frozen but still grainy mixture, then freeze until solid.

Alternatively, pour the mixture into an ice cream maker if you have one and mix according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Just before serving, remove the sherbet from the freezer, break into large pieces, then blend in a food processor for a few seconds at a time until smooth.

Pour the sorbet into 4 bowls and serve.
