Turmeric Porridge » Simple and Healthy Recipe! ✅

For a super quick and delicious breakfast – Mini’s

  • half a cup of quick oatmeal

  • 1 cup of milk (you can use any type of milk you want)

  • 1 teaspoon of turmeric paste

  • A handful of mixed nuts to serve

  • Honey/maple syrup (optional)

  1. Start by making the turmeric paste. Put 3/4 cup of water in a saucepan and heat it until it boils. While it boils add a teaspoon of ground turmeric and mix. Continue to boil the mixture and stir continuously until the water has evaporated and you will have a smooth paste. Remove the pasta from the pan and let it cool. You can store the paste for about a month in the refrigerator to use ahead of time.

  2. Now for the porridge, put the milk in a saucepan and bring it to a boil.

  3. Quickly add the oats and mix. Lower the heat slightly and continue stirring for a minute.

  4. Now add the turmeric paste to the mixture and continue mixing on low heat for another minute.

  5. Remove the mixture from the pan and serve in a bowl. If you want it to be more liquid, you can add more milk or water.

  6. Serve it with some chopped nuts (walnut, almond, and cashew are best for me) and a little honey or maple syrup if you want it sweeter.
